Contents. ICD-9-CM Volume 3. ICD-9-CM Volume 3 is a system of procedural codes used by health insurers to classify medical procedures for billing purposes. It is a subset of the International Statistical Classification of Diseases and Related Health Problems (ICD) 9-CM. Volumes 1 and 2 are used for diagnostic codes .
The ICD-11 CDDR is the successor to the ICD-10 CDDG, which was first released in 1992 and was also known as the "Blue Book". The CDDR is integrated into the ICD-11, and can be viewed in the ICD-11 Browser. On 8 March 2024, the CDDR was also released in book form. It can be downloaded for free from the WHO's website.
