If anyone would care to take a look at the picture for the dermatophagia page - those symptoms are very very similar to what you would see for dermatotilliomania of the fingers. this is from my own experience as a sufferer of both. the main difference between the two is that biting produces a more irregular pattern of sores and scarring.
