Mount Storm Lake – also known as New Stony River Reservoir – is a 1,200 acres (4.9 km 2) reservoir created in 1965 on the Stony River in Grant County, West Virginia. Fish species in the Saddle River include largemouth bass, pickerel, bullhead catfish, sunfish and different varieties of trout. Most of the trout are stocked by the New Jersey Division of Fish and Wildlife, although the uppermost reaches of the river and some of its tributaries hold wild brown trout.
The reserve's public facilities include wharf, boat ramps, car and trailer parking area, fish-cleaning table, advisory signs (boating, fishing, personal water craft and navigation), picnic tables and amenities. Linked by a causeway, the former Peat Island hospital, to the west, is now operated by the Department of Community Services.
