The St. Joseph River (known locally as the St. Joe) is a 210-mile-long (340 km) river that flows in a generally westerly direction through southern Michigan and northern Indiana, United States, before emptying into Lake Michigan.
Burr Oak Township is a civil township of St. Joseph County in the U.S. state of Michigan. As of the 2020 census , the township population was 2,639. [ 3 ] The Village of Burr Oak is located within the township.
Centreville was first established as the county seat of St. Joseph County in 1831. The first county offices were located in a leased house. In 1841, Thomas W.
