Aufseherin ( [ˈaʊ̯fˌzeːəʁɪn], pl. Aufseherinnen) was the position title for a female guard in Nazi concentration camps. Of the 50,000 guards who served in the concentration camps, training records indicate that approximately 3,500 were women.
