Saint Joseph Mercy Health System (SJMHS) was one of the largest health care networks based in southeast Michigan, United States. It was founded in 1911 and existed until 2022, when it merged with Mercy Health to form Trinity Health Michigan .
Portage River is a 38.6-mile-long (62.1 km) [3] river that flows southward through Kalamazoo County and St. Joseph County, Michigan.Its headwaters are 8 miles (13 km) east of the city of Kalamazoo at Portage Lake, and the river flows southwest to its mouth within the city limits of Three Rivers, where it drains into the St. Joseph River.

Three Rivers is a city in St. Joseph County, Michigan. The population was 7,973 at the time of the 2020 census. [5] Three Rivers derives its name from its location at the confluence of the St. Joseph River and two tributaries, the Rocky and Portage rivers. [6] The St. Joseph River flows into Lake Michigan.
Centreville developed around a tavern founded there in 1831 by European-American settler, Thomas W. Langley. It was incorporated as a village in 1837. [6] The St. Joseph County Courthouse was built in 1842.
Saint Joseph's Catholic Church is a church located at 5899 County Road 669 near Maple City, Michigan and east of Glen Arbor, Michigan. It was constructed in 1884 and listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1992.
It remained attached to St. Joseph Township for administrative purposes until 1841. [5] The commune of the House of David was located in the township. In 1967, the Benton Harbor Fruit Market, established in 1860 in Benton Harbor, moved to the township. [6] The Benton Harbor city limits have since then extended to include the market. [7]
As of the census [3] of 2000, there were 1,239 people, 407 households, and 326 families residing in the township. The population density was 34.7 inhabitants per square mile (13.4/km 2).
