So in that regard Adobe RGB has the same number of colors as sRGB. What really determines banding is bit depth. Given the same number of colors in 8-bit Adobe RGB is more prone to banding than sRGB because the colors are farther apart (greater Δ E so more noticeable). Took me a while to wrap my head around this early on.

Hi Les I would not expect the CFExpress cards to be faster in your D500 - or in the D850. They were slightly slower in the Z6 - about 5-8% which translated into a difference of 1 frame in the maximum burst length.
