Either way, (877) 289-6418 is the best number available to reach a real person. There is no way, at least here my part of the USA, to contact a local UPS office directly. I was told by 2 customer service reps on different calls that the local offices are set up only to make outgoing calls.
Speak directly to customer service representative. 877-289-6418, option 4 (other) I just was able to speak to a live UPS person about my delivery issue (3 failed delivery attempts, even though I was home, and now being returned to sender). Found out the identity of the sender, contacted sender, and make alternative arrangements.
The bot will ask you if you want to speak to rep, it’s a trap, say no. Then speak gibberish over and over until they ask for a full tracking number. Then say random letters and numbers until they say, “is your number [this and that]” and then say no. And that got me on hold for a real person. So there’s my guide, hope it helps.
Adding another customer service number for people to try: 800-877-1760 I’ve had luck using this number to get a live person. As far as helpfulness goes, still zero. I’ve been pestering UPS for over a month now trying to get info on my lost package - a family heirloom antique mirror.
Customer Service: How to Reach a Person. The UPS Media Relations Team has a hotline for journalists writing about UPS at (404) 828-7123. Option 1 will connect you with Customer Service at the UPS Corporate office. Asking the 1-800 robot to speak with an agent no longer works. Neither does pressing "0" repeatedly while on the automated phone line.
There isn't, most of the hr functions go through operations management. Doesn’t exist. This is an actual phone number with real people in UPS HR who will actually help you, they did for me! I think they might be in India, I've never been so grateful for outsourcing if this is true! (855) 877-4772". Reply to comment: "FlameHeartWings.

i believe the phone centers have been bombarded, prolly best to email. I often don't see "Out for Delivery" until 12 sometimes. The phones are basically a dead end unless you say something other than "track a package". They're clearly tired of that.
Actual person!!!! Calling UPS customer service is a nightmare. They give you the run around and go out of their way to keep you from being able to speak with an actual person. Call 1-800-PICK-UPS and say "Tracking". The robot will then prompt you to put in a tracking number..... do so and you will then receive your tracking status.
