Warranty replacements are still being honored by Otterbox. Just received my VZW Z30 replacement case the other day (plastic above the USB port snapped). 10-27-14 01:09 AM

  3. Have an Otterbox? DONT PAY THE $6.99 FEE - CrackBerry

    forums.crackberry.com/.../have-otterbox-dont-pay-6-99-fee-1014086

From my knowledge - I have owned many Otterbox cases before - they all were priced within this range, and the warranty was lifetime with no cost until this year. So they are just taking advantage of their buyers, especially with the poor wording of the reasoning behind the $6.99 fee.

  4. Incipio Case vs. OtterBox Commuter (Thoughts on Incipio)

    www.droidforums.net/threads/incipio-case-vs-otterbox-commuter-thoughts-on...

Incipio warranty: Compared to Otterbox's warranty is far beyond better than Incipio's, because with Otter Box (and I've experienced both warrantys and I have both cases) you just call in and they answer fast they ask you a few questions like your address where to ship the replacement at and what model is it and phone and then voila, a couple ...

    www.droidforums.net/threads/replacing-otterbox-defenders-screen-protector.211174

Popped out the Otterbox Defender screen protector today and replaced it with the Zagg (expensive, but readily available locally). Reinstalled the OB case. Looks awesome, plus no way for dust to get underneath the protector any more. A much better solution.

  6. Dropped it, now the screen won't turn on! - DroidForums.net

So long story short, I have my RAZR Maxx HD in an otterbox, which I thought would protect it from ANYTHING (and hitherto I suppose it has). Yesterday, I dropped the phone some 7ft down my staircase onto concrete (oops!). Initially, the phone looked fine and the otterbox case is still pristine. Unfortunately, the screen simply won't turn on.

Got home from work today sat down, checked some emails on my phone, then plugged it in to charge on the table beside me. 10. If i had otterbox case, do i need a screen protector?

    forums.crackberry.com/blackberry-z10-f254/if-i-had-otterbox-case-do-i-need...

I have the Seidio Active case, and the holster too. I love it. It is more comparable to the typical Otterbox Commuter cases, but Otterbox has said they will not make a Commuter for the 10. The Active is very nice, great protection without the bulk of a Defender. I use a Zagg HD screen protector with it. Posted via CB10

  11. Alternative to Replace Priv? - BlackBerry Forums at...

    forums.crackberry.com/blackberry-priv-f440/alternative-replace-priv-1092782

Went through tech/service, they said needed replacement, warranty dept promptly agreed and issued RMA. It's my only phone so I opted for advanced replacement rather than send it off for 2 to 4 weeks. They have no devices for replacing, after 3 weeks they still have no idea when they will have devices for replacement.
