Westland, MI. 03/04/19 08:32 PM. 416 posts. I made a big 8X11, 111-page book with the deluxe lay flat pages from Shutterfly, and it is magnificent! They usually do the free page promo roughly once every 6 weeks or so. You can stack that promo with the free shipping plus the 50% off. My $250 book cost me $40.
The best thing you can do before entering Shutterfly on Google Photos in your browser (https://photos.google.com) or in the mobile app, is to select the pictures you want have printed, then tap the + and create a new album and give that a logic name.
I've noticed throughout Google Photo Help and Community answers, nobody answers this question correctly. YES, you can directly import your Google Photos into a Shutterfly project. Beginning Jan. 1, 2018, you can't directly import Google Photos into a Shutterfly album, but you can still import them into a project, such as a photo album or calendar.
That was fast and easy. Wish I had found this info before spending a lot of time trying other instructions.
Shutterfly permits mobile uploads of iPhone photos, however. Given the volume of photos I’d like to upload, I’d like to know when the link between Google photos and Shutterfly will resume. Google photo books does not have the options I’m looking for and prefer to use Shutterfly.
Then, click on 'download'. Shutterfly will send a link to your email with an archive of all the photos. It will be in your downloaded files. Go to google photos - click upload - go to computer - go to downloads - go to the archive - and you are all set! It took less than a minute!
Shutterfly is running a promo for a free 8X8 book, I think I'll drop a bunch of the low resolution photos on the free promo book just to see what it looks like when it prints out. All I'd be out is shipping and handling.
Anyway, after logging into Shutterfly, I logged into Google photos while in Shutterfly only to see there are no photos displayed by Google. It asks me to select photos, but none are there. I tried it several times but no google photos are displayed. I used, and preferred Picasa, I am trying to rationalize using Google Photos.
In addition you can change formatting, color etc. I personally write my texts in a word processor and paste them into Shutterfly, but that's me. You cannot brighten photos in Shutterfly but there are a variety of effects such a BW, Sunshine, Vibrant etc. etc. as well as the ubiquitous cropping and red eye removal.
