In 2019 the World Jigsaw Puzzle Federation was founded and in the same year, the first World Jigsaw Championship was held in Valladolid, Spain. Due to the global COVID-19 pandemic the event was cancelled in 2020 and 2021, and it resumed in 2022. The 2024 event will be held in Valladolid again from 17 to 22 September. [5]
