If someone hacks your account, changes your recovery email/information - Yahoo will not be able to recover. Someone who hacks an account can easily change all of this information. And we know how susceptible Yahoo is to this. Yahoo "Premium Support" told me it was escalated - but they still couldn't do anything unless I verified my email.
I’m pretty sure Yahoo will never charge you to unlock your password under any circumstances. I know they charge $4.99 for premium services but nothing to unlock a forgotten password. I don’t mean to insult your intelligence but are you sure you weren’t hacked and aren’t actually talking to someone posing as yahoo?

In prior times I'd be able to select the time period of the data i wanted to see then I'd be able to copy/paste this data into an excel file. However, it looks like yahoo finance has had a recent user interface update on it's pages and they don't allow the price data to be directly downloaded anymore.

I can't even find an email address to send my concerns on this topic.
This just makes me want to terminate my yahoo account and stick to other emails. Sucks but it's better than trusting useless Yahoo with security. These guys have already failed massively in the past and it doesn't look like they're competent enough to handle this. If you're with Yahoo you're just asking to get hacked.
Maybe someone here can help me out. I don't know exactly what caused it, but one of my parents was on their computer trying to sign in to Yahoo Mail and couldn't successfully login (Probably using an old password, who knows), but now whenever they (or anyone else in the household) tries to sign in, the only thing that comes up on the Yahoo login page is a blank white page with "Rate Limited ...
Hi! I tried clicking "Forgot username" and placed my phone number, it did not send anything. The last time Yahoo sent me a text message was back in July 4 of this year. I unfortunately don't have a recovery email address set up for this account only my phone number.
