It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1979, [1] and now houses The Historic Silliman Home and Blacksmith Shop.
The St. Joseph County Courthouse is a government building located at 125 West Main Street in Centreville, Michigan. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1993. History. Centreville was first established as the county seat of St. Joseph County in 1831. The first county offices were located in a leased house.
November 9, 2005. The St. Joseph North Pier Inner and Outer Lights are lighthouses in Michigan at the entrance to the St. Joseph River on Lake Michigan. The station was built in 1832 with the current lights built in 1906 and 1907; [1] [4] they were decommissioned in 2005. [5]
The county created what is now the Wahbememe Memorial Park at the site. In 1986, the farm which the site was part of was parceled out to make an industrial park, and the new owners deeded the park property to the St. Joseph County Historical Society.
