It depends really on your area. It's either in home delivery or third party delivery from several apps. You should have the option of putting in your tip when you place your order. Or you can give an additional cash tip that isn't on the records. Either way there are real costs and real people.
I’ve been using WM+ for quite a while. I love it. Yes, it costs $98 a year plus $40 for the no tip option. The groceries get delivered into my garage with my key code and I love it. I do not have to be home for the deliveries and I don’t have to tip the driver.
I've seen mixed inputs so tested myself. Confirmed that Walmart online grocery codes at "US Supermarkets" and earns 6% - great options since there is a lot available and avoids the acid reflux of having to go into the store.
Redemption is in the form of gift cards powered by raise. If only the TYP earning version of that card was more widely available it would've made the list. Venmo card gives 3% at Walmart, Costco, Restaurant Depot, etc. Make sure you have at least one grocery item on the trip. Does not work for online purchases.
Anything done online, even if you set the pickup location to a Walmart grocery rather than super Walmart, will code as ‘general merchandise’ and won’t get 4x. Buying food at the super Walmarts will also code as ‘general merchandise’. In person, green Walmart. Edit since you edited- ya looks like you are SOL on that one, sorry to say.

South_Scale_2721. •. No. The only reason you got the Walmart+ service was to avoid being charged $9.95 for every time you order a grocery delivery. You paid $49 or $99 depending on the promotion you had. I'm not sure how being able to order fresh food twice a week from a grocery app for $99 a year isn't valuable.
Unless Walmart has something the other grocery stores don't I see no reason to grocery shop at Walmart other than GMO filled "great value" garbage. P.s. I stopped shop and deliver because the store is always out of stock of something and Walmart app is shit and has us shop either hours after you expected delivery or hours before.
I have been a Walmart+ member for over 6 months. I was placing 2-3 grocery deliveries a week and had little to no problems, a few late deliveries, a few missing items nothing major. About a month and a half ago, every order started coming hours late, sometimes with tons of items missing. The past 10 orders, only 1 has come on time, 1 came 8 ...
From there, go to Account, Purchase History, View details, then click the teeny Print link that (on my phone) is either directly underneath the order date (desktop) or, on your mobile browser's Desktop view, centered under the Order#. You'll end up with a full page, detailed receipt pdf vs a regular receipt, but it works for me. 1. Reply. Share.
