Richard E. Holmes (born February 17, 1944) is an American medical doctor who specialized in emergency department medicine. As a third-year college student, in 1965 he enrolled in the previously segregated Mississippi State University.
He joined the faculty of the University of Mississippi Medical Center in 1992. [2] Jones, a designated specialist in clinical hypertension under the American Society of Hypertension, is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and a fellow of the American College of Physicians. [2]
