New coins have been produced annually and they comprise a significant aspect of the United States currency system. Circulating coins exist in denominations of 1ยข (i.e. 1 cent or $0.01), 5ยข, 10ยข, 25ยข, 50ยข, and $1.00.
Minted was founded in 2007 by Mariam Naficy as a crowdsourced internet art fair, and has become an online stationery kingpin with over 500 employees and 10,000-plus designs.
