As I mentored in the last thread, most Canadian libraries provide free access to the website of Consumer Reports. If you have a valid library card, go to your library's website and look at their online resources. There is a very good chance you'll be able to get free, legal access. +3. Reply.

Between cost, design, and features there’s never been a good reason to buy one over a Whirlpool design. LG does have one of the best repair programs though, flat fee and everything’s in stock. If you want absolute reliability look for items with the least electronics. A Huebsch washer/dryer and a blue star range.
It claims your "online consumer solutions" account" can access the consumer disclosure. When you log on, there is no way to access the consumer disclosure. Instead you are repeated prompted to purchase one of their products.
The OBiTALK Consumer Portal will be officially shutting down access on October 31st, 2024. This decision is pursuant to the end-of-life notice posted in December 2021 for the discontinuation of the OBi 2xx series device and applies across all devices connected to the OBiTALK service.
The "secure-ocs.transunion.ca" service is an online way of accessing a once per year free copy of your credit report with TransUnion. It will include things not available in your credit report, such as your non-credit related and account review ("soft") enquiries. It is your legal entitlement to annual consumer disclosure.
Northumberland Tire Craft in Port Hope can have them on my vehicle for Under $1300. It's well worth it if you can pick it up across the border. My high performance tires are $400+ CAD, and $180 USD each, not to mention $100USD for alloy rims. Bought new winter tires/rims for my wife's Q5 for $1045USD vs $2500+CAD.
The mark up was $1000 for the electronic rust protection, paint protection, upholstry. Whereas a Krown treatment is $115. It is probably unlawful for a dealer to refuse a warranty for making a false claim of defects via rust application. I hope these threads help people who are pressured into scams like this.
I decided I needed to stick to my budget, so I called to adjust my policy. The first guy questioned me about my health again, even though I was already a policy holder. This seems strange. After you have a policy, you shouldn't have to report on your health every time you contact them. He insisted I call my doctor to verify, and I did.
The front fenders are actually plastic so that's one area you don't have to worry about rust. The warranty is also very good. The bad: Its slow, interior materials are among the worst, noisy, build quality is below average even for made in Japan ones. The ugly: Don't expect much resale no matter how good it turns out.
