Mottville Township is a civil township of St. Joseph County in the U.S. state of Michigan. The population was 1,444 at the 2020 census . [ 3 ] US 12 runs through the township, and M-103 connects it with the Indiana state line.
The motel declined during the 1970s, and in 1979 Sarkisian sold it to William and Carlene Lymburner. They rehabilitated the hotel, selling it in 1986. The motel went through a number of subsequent owners, and by 1996 had morphed into the St. Joseph Inn which was intended to serve long-term residents. The motel was demolished on March 27, 2006.
