Thinking about ending my auction early while I still have a real (hopefully) interested buyer. The auction is at $640 with my buy it now price at $650. Highest bidder has 2 feedback history, I sent them a message asking for a response to verify they are not a shill bidder and haven’t heard back in 2 days.

09-27-2021 01:18 PM. With regard to your actual question as stated in the title of the thread, I don't believe that it is necessarily wrong per se, however, it is somewhat of a useless practice. After the purchase is made or a bid is placed, asking of questions is, for the most part, a moot point. You have already committed to the purchase.
90% of my listings are auctions and I have found that having a BIN price on them tends to dissuade bidding. I think that is for several reasons, two of which that are interconnected. 1) newer members may think you will not sell an item if it only gets one bid or does not get close enough to your BIN price.
